 The company was incorporated in October 2007 and in the first phase started trading activities. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Gravita Group and like all other units is a Lead Manufacturing and processing unit.
At Gravita Zambia not only do we recycle Lead from battery scrap but also make Polypropylene chips. Suffice it to say that our unit is in strict conformity with international pollution standards.
We, at Gravita, constantly review our pollution and environmental safety monitoring systems so that we are able to provide a pollution free environment at our works. Lead Battery scrap is collected locally but we also import scrap from nearby states to fulfill our needs.
